I love the ocean. If you wanna write one, I would like it. But you dont have to.

Don't worry. It's a pleasure to write poems anyway. Besides, the ocean is a great subject to write on. Countless artworks are devoted to the ocean itself, so I'll sure enjoy writing a subject that's fairly deep.

Into the screaming depths of the ocean
Too deep a man could far journey
The azure pasture of the water I notion
Where few man could ever sojourn
A far greater environment thrives
Far more than men could fain think
So much life exists, like hives
Yet traversing the meadows of blue could sink
So much has one tried to travel across
So much has one ever studies it
So much has one peer through the fishes amok
So much has one tried to fit
Into the the kingdom where fishes rule
Into the kingdom where man unable with nature, duel

Thanks, but I only spent around 5 minutes writing that.

If you check out some of my extremely long poems in Leafy Turtwig, I spent around 30 minutes writing that. I think it's magnificent.

Yes, but I only count the rhymes. I could've counted iambic tetrameter or have an anapest, but I wouldn't care. That's for professional poets.

I suck at poetry.

Well, you don't need to understand poetry to move on with your life. It's just important to understand the meaning of poetry and such. I've heard the English essay on the H+ test paper is about analyzing a whole poem, and my friend wrote stuff like this poem is written in anapestic hexameter or something like that. Deep stuff I must say.

I could never understand that. o_o

Define enjambment, meter, alliteration, and villanelle.

I cant do it without looking them up....

Love just said good bye to me
I just saw it floating sky high
Waving its wiggly hands above
Floating in the summer sky
I fain recall myself saying good bye
Albeit the elusive one never comes back

Twas a bright day I had none a stiff back
Observing the calls and coos around me
Gazing at one particular couple going bye
The two hugged and are feeling mighty high
But out in the horizon my eyes fixed in the sky
It was love heralding the pair above

Its happiness and mischief was all above
What was omitted was then taken back
Gliding along the gusts it played the sky
It sensed a particular person called me
Then dived upwards, outward into the space high
Before leaving a shallow message called good bye

Well I had a funny feeling with this bye
I peered into the deep blue sky above
The famous place where love returned to sky high
Never had I known was love turning its back
Towards a particular person whom it seen, me
I cannot help scrutinize the clouds in the sky

However hard I try to look I quit watching the sky
So I left the place with a particular good bye
But towards my back was someone calling me
Paranoid as I was I turned my head above
But silly me the voice came from my back
And I soon find out my message did not came up high

Twas a strange girl above 5 feet high
And not a divine message coming from the sky
She questioned me about love turning back
She questioned me why it said good bye
She also tilted her oval head above
I left the park, but she followed me

Again love appeared before me, from the sky high
In our heads above, it judged from the sky
It will not leave a bye, but it promises it will be back
