ATTENTION:Official Sparkling Beach Forum Rules

These are the Rules. They exist so the forum is a great pace for everyone. Failure to follow these rules will result in punishment in the form of Infractions and/or bans.


1. No trolling, flaming, name calling, fighting of any kind will be allowed. No ifs ands or buts.
2. No Harassment of any kind. Sexual Harassment is extremely innapropriate and is never allowed. Any offenders will be punished according to the severity of the offnece, including a permanent ban.

No. posting sexually explicit material or discussion of such things will be allowed. Doing so will result in an immediate permanent ban. Note that explaining sex to someone who dosent know it acceptable as log as it dosent get graphic.

4. No posting of Spam. Spam = Stupid Pointess Annoying Messages. Spam is posting things that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. No posting of images by themselves, please include writing in a post that contains an image.

5.No sockpuppeting: Sockpuppeting is having more than one account. You are allowed one account. Making another account to evade a ban will result in a permanent ban of the alternate account.

6. No disrespect of staff members will be allowed. If a Moderator, Admin or any staff member tells you to do something, you will do it. Failure to do so will result in a severe infraction, or ban.

7. No minimodding: Minimodding is when a user who is not a staff member tells another member what to do or says" thats not allowed Im telling the mods etc." Let the staff do their jobs.

8. Excessive swearing will not be tolerated. It just looks dumb and contributes nothing.

9. Absolutely no intersite drama of any kind will be tolerated.Intersite drama is when you bring your problems from another site to this forum. Doing so will result in severe punishment. What happens on another site stays there. No exceptions. Intersite drama leads to ill will on all sites and members involved and leads to bad reputations, etc. We dont want it here.

10. No posting links to ROMs or any illegal downloads, streaming episodes, etc. No illegal things. We discourage talk about the use of ROMs and Emulators, also asking for links to these things is forbidden.

Infraction Levels:

Minor = 10%
Medium = 25%
Major = 50%

Sexual harassment

Minor = 30%
Medium = 60%
Major = 100%

Spam

Minor = 10%
Medium = 25%
Major = 50%

Sock

Always = 50% (100% for sock itself)

Mod disobeying

Minor = 20%
Medium = 30%
Major = 50%

Intersite drama

Minor = 20%
Medium = 30%
Major = 50%

Mini modding

Minor = 10%
Medium = 20%
Major = 30%

Over swearing

Minor = 10%
Medium = 25%
Major = 50%

Asking for links to Illegal Downloads/ ROM dicussion

Minor: 10%
Medium: 30%
Major: 40%

This is the Infraction System. If it is your first offence, you will recieve a warning via PM. Also If a staff member posts in thread to tell you to stop doing something, this is a warning.

If you receive an Infraction, you'll recieve a PM telling you what the Infraction is and how many points its worth. Your Infraction Bar/level will then be edited to reflect this.

Question, the agreements said the following:

"- Messages who promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited."

What exactly do you mean by that? For instance, in Sweden it's legal to download movies via thepiratebay, in the US it's not. In Spain the age of consent is 13, in Tunisia it's 20. The drinking age in Iceland is 20, in Portugal it's 16.

So what is your policy on the matter? Would I get infracted for suggesting torrenting a movie / having sex with a 14-year-old / Binge-drinking to a 17-year-old (since they're illegal at some places in the world), or would those things be ok to suggest? (since they're very legal at other places in the world)

For all intensive purposes Those things would not be appropriate to suggest. If you posted a movie or talked about having sex with a 14 year old, yes you would get infracted and immediately banned because in the country we are in this is very illegal because it is considered Child Pornography. Therefore its forbidden to discuss under the forum rules.
